About Rooted Midlife
Rooted Midlife began with a simple realization: I did not need another system telling me to try harder. I needed support that worked with my real brain, changing body, family responsibilities, and fluctuating capacity.
As a late-diagnosed ADHD mother in midlife, I spent years wondering why ordinary life sometimes felt so difficult, even when I was trying so hard. Planners, routines, and productivity advice often became more things to manage—and more reasons to feel behind.
I began creating calm, practical tools that helped me move thoughts out of my head, reduce decisions, protect my energy, and return after difficult days without turning interruption into failure.
Rooted Midlife now creates digital resources for women navigating ADHD, perimenopause, motherhood, caregiving, home overwhelm, and changing capacity.
These tools are designed to help you:
- Feel less overwhelmed and ashamed
- Find one realistic next step
- Protect your limited energy
- Create calmer support systems
- Return without starting over perfectly
You do not need to become a different person. You may simply need support that fits the woman you are now.
Rooted Midlife provides educational and practical resources. It does not offer medical care, diagnosis, therapy, or a substitute for professional advice.
